Jakub Jankto is poised to leave Italya and Serie A to start a new chapter of his career in Spain. Sampdoria, who needed funds from the market, have reached an agreement with Getafe for the sale of the midfielder.
The deal is set to be completed shortly, with Sampdoria getting €6 million from the sale of the Czech. Jankto, 25, is expected to travel to Madrid to settle the final details of the deal and then officially leave Italian football after 7 seasons.
Sampdoria needed cash in order to make more signings and now, with the funds coming from Jankto's sale, the Blucerchiati will keep working to bring in Dynamo Kyiv's striker Vladyslav Supryaga. Sampdoria had already made an offer for a loan - with €1 million loan fee - with option to buy set at €6 million, which was turned down by the Ukranian club. The Blucerchiati are now set to make an improved bid to persuade Dynamo to let their young striker leave.
