With Ligue 1 canceled, French clubs are already planning ahead for next season. A side that is close to securing their first signing is Nice, as the club of the Cote d'Azur are in advanced talks with Olympiacos for Greek left-back Konstantinos Tsimikas.
The two clubs are negotiating the terms of the deal, that should be closed on the basis of a €8 million transfer fee plus bonuses. The player seems poised to pen a three-year deal with the French side, which will play in the Europa League next season, as the deal appears to have entered the final stage.
The player, born in 1996, has made 27 appearances with Olympiacos this season and was also in Napoli's radar as a target for the defence.
