After joining Juventus from Real Madrid in the so called 'deal of the century', Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo has made a huge impact on the Serie A both on and off the pitch. The five times Balon d'Or winner discussed his first few months in Italy with La Gazzetta dello Sport: "I am very happy to be here. The city is nice, the fans are very kind to me and Juventus is a fantastic club, they are unbeliavably well-organized. This is the best group I've been part of, we are a team. Everybody is humble and wants to win. If Dybala and Mandzukic don't score, they are happy nonetheless. I can feel the difference, in Madrid they were humble too, but here they are much more. It feels like being part of a family"
Ronaldo was also asked about his decision to join the bianconeri and also challenged Messi to join him in Italy: "I came here because Juventus is a solid club, they have history, they have made it to the Champions League final twice in the past few years and they have won seven Scudetti in a row. Small details made also a huge difference. Allegri? I've been working with him only for a short time, but I can say that he is a very good coach, serious but also very funny. Messi? It's not a race between me and Messi. I don't like it when they compare me to other players, it's not fair. I proved that I could win with every club I've played and with the national team. If I miss him? No, maybe he misses me. I've played in Spain, England, Italy and Portugal and I have won trophies wherever I've played. He has only ever played in Spain. I'd like it if he decided to come in Italy one day. He should do like me and accept this cahllenge. Anyway, if he is happy there I respect his decision. He is a fantastic player and a good man, but I don't miss anything. This is my new life and I'm happy", concluded Ronaldo.
