After Andreazzoli's arrival as the new Genoa coach has been made official, the Rossobù are now working with Empoli to bring their manager new players. The targets are Caputo and Bennacer and a deal could be closed for both of them with a fee of €18 to 20m.
They've authorized to talk with the agents but on the Caputo side, things could become tricky because of Sassuolo and Spal's interests. Genoa could then only get the midfielder in the end: they're thinking to bring Asencio, born in 98' youngster who just got back from Benevento where he was loaned out, as a counterpart to get Bennacer.
An other transfer idea of the Genova based side was Joao Pedro, but after the lunch president Preziosi had with Andreazzoli, where the coach told him he wanted to play in a 3-5-2, it seems the trequartista wouldn't be needed.
