Genoa is looking to close a deal on the transfer market. Trabzonspor's Caleb Ekuban is the player that is on their list. The Genoa directors want to bring in the Italo-Ghanian forward, born in 1994, as a reinforcement.
An agreement has been reached with the player. Ekuban was convinced by Genoa's offer and doesn't want to accept any other offers that would come in, like the one from AEK Athens.
Negotiations are ongoing with Trabzonspor and they are close to a deal: a permanent transfer worth 2 million euros. Before finializing the deal, Genoa has to make an outgoing transfer.
Ekuban was with the Chievo squad before playing at Leeds and Trabzonspor. The player scored 10 goals and provided 4 assists in 32 appearances last season in Turkey.
