West Ham are looking to close the January window with a significant addition. The Hammers have in fact offered Benfica 50 million to acquire Derwin Nunez, but the deal will be hard to pull off since there isn't much time left to close the negotiation.
It's a race against time for West Ham since Benfica are asking for a higher return and the player is currently in Uruguay. So far this season, Nunez has scored 15 goals in 16 league matches.
