After the home win against Empoli, Juventus will travel to Sardegna to face Cagliari in a mid week round of Serie A action. The bianconeri’s manager Massimiliano Allegri gave an update on the status of numerous players during the pre match press conference:”We hope to have Cristiano Ronaldo for the Ajax match. He’s feeling a lot better, we have nine days until Ajax and we’ll have time to evaluate him. We have to be careful with everything and consider the risks. Cuadrado is working well, his return is imminent: 7 to 10 days. Spinazzola has a problem to his knee, not the one that he had surgery in. If all goes well I don’t think he’ll be available for 15 days. Perin suffered a bruise to his shoulder, we hope to have him back for Ajax”
Allegri gave more details on his potential lineup for match versus Cagliari:”Will we use a three man defense tomorrow? It depends, I need to evaluate. Tomorrow we’ll have 13 outfield players and three keepers. If Dybala feels well, he’ll come to Cagliari, if not he’ll stay here. Mandzukic has a bit of a fever, we’ll see if we’ll bring him or not. Kean is young, he has enthusiasm and important qualities. Tomorrow will be a good test for him”
