Inter's directors have begun contacts with the agents of Tottenham's Christian Eriksen, with the nerazzurri's plan to make a move for June when the midfielder's contract will expire. The talks in London are of a possible transfer in January, which would be the option preferred by Eriksen's club, who would prefer to sell him rather than lose him after the expiration of his deal, which Erikson has not shown openness to renewing: the price for his exit is fixed around €20m.
Inter highly values the addition of the Dane, but they are also directed towards making an immediate addition to the team, where Arturo Vidal comes in. If the pursuit of him is not successful, a situation could develop in which Inter could attempt to acquire Eriksen in January, which also has the benefit of lessening the eventual competition Inter would face for the player.
