Napoli are looking for a reinforcement to their attack and Everton Soares could be an option to bolster Carlo Ancelotti's squad. The Partenopei had already offered 37 million to Gremio, a bid that was turned down by the Brazilian club. In the past few hours, however, Napoli held new contacts and made an improved bid to Gremio.
The Brazilians demands are still very significant and the negotiations between clubs are ongoing, but a deal is difficult since the economic rights of the players are held by three different parties. Gremio are asking 40 million for 50% of the economic rights, as they want to capitalize on Everton's impressive display during the Copa America, also considering that the player turned down an offer coming from China in the past days.
