Out since October due to injury, Davide Calabria will have to wait even longer before he becomes available to Montella. The Milan fullback suffers from ligament damage in his left ankle, but will not need to be surgically operated. Here is the official report published by Milan:
“AC Milan announces that Davide Calabria is still suffering from an ankle injury with ligament damage, sustained during training, last October. Medical staff have currently excluded that the player requires surgery. The injury needs more time to heal. Davide will undergo a rehabilitation program to return to full competition.”
