Fiorentina has met with Arsenal to discuss striker Dusan Vlahovic. The Italian club's directors Barone and Pradè were in London over recent days to gauge the interest of the Gunners.
Arsenal want to bring the striker to the Emirates in January, and are willing to pay the price to do so: Fiorentina's asking price is a base fee of €80 million, and Arsenal are open to a fee that reaches that amount with several bonuses inserted.
While the clubs seem to have found the outlines of an agreement, there is not yet an agreement with the player and his agents, with distance still between the sides at the moment. There are signs that Vlahovic will want to wait to consider even bigger offers, potentially waiting until June to accept one.
Fiorentina meanwhile want to have their future plans set in January while looking for a possible replacement. Their top choice is Sassuolo's Domenico Berardi, but the club will not offer a discount to the Viola.
