After the sale of the club was finally completed, Milan's new directors Fassone and Mirabelli are hard at work to rebuild the rossoneri. On Monday they hosted numerous meetings at Casa Milan to start building their squad for next season, let's start by looking at the summits involving two of their current players:

Carlos Bacca's agent Sergio Braille arrived this morning to discuss his client's situation after he's been benched in recent weeks. While the Colombian striker remains an important player on Montella's squad, he's expected to leave at the end of the season since Fassone and Mirabelli are determined to sign a top striker in the summer.

On the other hand Suso has an expiring contract in 2019, the rossoneri's previous management had reached an agreement on an extension. Today there was a positive meeting and a follow up summit was scheduled for next week to further discuss a new deal through 2021 with a higher salary.

Regarding potential new acquisitions, there was a meeting with Keita Balde's agent Roberto Calenda, the winger's contract with Lazi expires in 2018. While Milan has been interested for awhile, Juventus is looking to close the deal and now Milan's pursuit is on stand by. Milan also met with the agent for Luiz Gustavo, but the Brazilian midfielder is seen as an alternative to Frank Kessie' a player the rossoneri are confident they can acquire.

Milan has taken a decisive approach in the race for Ricardo Rodriguez, a player who has been linked to Inter and Napoli. The rossoneri already reached an agreement with the Swiss left back, in the next few days they'll contact Wolfsburg to try to complete the deal- Milan is looking to pay his €22.5 million exit clause by inserting some bonuses since they have an agreement with the player. After the closing, Milan is looking to make up for lost time on the transfer market
