Juventus and Milan are still working on a deal that would bring Leonardo Bonucci back in a bianconeri shirt. The players that have been discussed remain the same: Bonucci, Mattia Caldara and Gonzalo Higuain.
Today has been a frenetic day between the clubs as they have had multiple meetings to try and find an agreement on the valuations of the players as well as the formula of a transfer. In that sense, today the two teams have taken important steps forward.
It is important to remember that Chelsea are also interested in Caldara, but the biggest principle question of the whole deal remains Higuain. His brother (and agent) Nicolas will arrive in Italy tomorrow and his intention is to make sure that his current wages of 7.5 million are not lowered. In fact, he would prefer an increase in salary because the forward wants to remain at Juve.
In addition, he wants to evaluate the options presented by Milan and Chelsea, if both are concrete (especially on the Chelsea side because it remains to be seen if the club will become serious contenders in the next few hours).
The rossoneri, however, are working with Juventus on a solution that would be a very high fee for a loan (around 15 million) with an option to purchase, as has been reported by Sky journalist Peppe Di Stefano. Then it will depend on the player himself.
