Milan is searching for their first victory in about a month when they face Lazio tomorrow evening. Off the field, they are facing another battle with UEFA and Financial Fair Play. Their former director, Adriano Galliani, spoke at an organized event in Monza about the current financial rules: "Financial fair play? For me it's an injustice. Berlusconi received a Milan with two instances of failure and who were out of European competition. Then he went on to win a scudetto, European Championship and the Intercontinental Cup in only three years. With the rules of FFP Berlusconi's Milan would have never existed, a Milan that won five Champions Leagues."
Galliani has indeed made it clear that he doesn't like FFP, and he finished by saying: "Having said that, I no longer work at Milan since 2017. Now I am a simple fan, it wouldn't be right for me to talk about this. I was a manager for 31 years and now I must stay silent. The current directors will speak for the club, as will their owner, a large American hedge fund."
