Both parties have publicly denied the rumors. First Fiorentina denied having a meeting to hire Maurizio Sarri and then the former Chelsea manager's agent Fali Ramadani also contacted us to reiterate the following:"There haven't been meetings between Sarri and Fiorentina, please write that. Thank you"
There had been a conversation back when Iachini was sacked before the club picked Prandelli, but Sarri didn't want to join mid season. It's an old story with no recent updates just like with Napoli. After the loss to Verona, De Laurentiis had made an explorative inquiry but it didn't bring to any concrete action, so at moment there are no signals on Sarri's return to Napoli.
Roma are however an option should Fonseca be replaced. Both parties appreciate each other and there could be more developments.
