Juventus are nearing a deal for Ajax's captain Matthijs De Ligt. The young centre-back didn't join his teammates for the pre-season retreat in Austria, as Juventus has submitted a new bid to the Dutch club.
The two clubs have not reached a final agreement yet, but they are getting closer to agree a deal for De Ligt and the next few hours could be decisive.
