Wolfsburg director Rebbe:"No contacts with Inter for Rodriguez, we need strong players like him"

The financial crisis that Volkswagen has experienced in recent years has certainly impacted Wolfsburg, a once ambitiour club now battling to avoid relegation in the Bundesliga. The German club's sporting director Olaf Rebbe discussed the current situation as well as the rumors linking Ricardo Rodriguez to Inter and other top European clubs:"I'm not aware of any financial cuts- he told Extra Time- in addition we have completed some good financial deals for the club recently, we want to be back in the top five in the league. We need to focus on getting out of the battle to avoid relegation, we'll focus a lot on the youth system. Rodriguez? There has been no contact with Inter of any kind. In addition I can assure you that we have great ambition and to make them happen we need strong players like Rodriguez"
