After being the runner-ups both in the Premier League and in the FA Cup, Manchester United look for new acquisitions. First one will be Brazilian Fred, for whom the Red Devils have reached an agreement with Shakhtar for €50 million.
The Brazilian will be a starter in the Red Devils' midfield trio, alongside Matic and Pogba, who is also considered fundamental by the manager Mourinho. United are also interested in Milinkovic-Savic, but right now they have no intention of spending €100 million on a potential reserve.
Among the players that may leave United there's Darmian, who is getting closer to Juventus. From the Bianconeri, Mourinho would gladly take Mandzukic, as the Portuguese coach is looking for a striker with similar characteristics to the Croatian. An alternative in that position could be the former Inter striker Marko Arnautovic, now at West Ham.
