While the team gear up for the big match against Inter, Juventus' directors continue their search of a striker. A name being seriously considered by the Bianconeri is Genoa's Gianluca Scamacca, on loan from Sassuolo. The Neroverdi have made clear, however, that they would only sell the 21-year-old on loan with obligation to buy, while Juventus offer a loan with option to buy.
Another players held in high regard by the Bianconeris' coach Andrea Pirlo is Olivier Giroud of Chelsea. Despite his quotes about his desire to stay in London, the former Arsenal striker would welcome a move to the Bianconeri, should the Italian club offer him a contract until June 2022. What remains to be seen is if Juventus would be willing to make such an offer and if Chelsea will lower his demands for the Frenchman, currently valued at €5 million by his club. Juventus would in fact consider only a deal with no transfer fee but with the inclusion of some add-ons.
