With the January window around the corner, Napoli and Inter are in talks regarding a potential swap. Fernando Llorente would join the nerazzurri with Matteo Politano joining the partenopei both on loan until the end of the season, the players would address pressing needs on the teams' respective squads.
The conversations between the clubs are on going but the final agreement has yet to be reached, in the meantime both Conte and Gattuso have given their approval for the potential swap. The parties will continue to work and are ready to involve even more the players' agents.
Politano is also a transfer target for Fiorentina who would like to acquire him on a permanent basis, the former Sassuolo winger had previously been close to joining Napoli in January of 2018.
