Genoa are active on the market to bolster Ballardini's defense. The rossoblu recently signed Johan Vazquez and are now in contact with Nikola Maksimovic.
The Serbian defender's contract with Napoli recently expired (the partenopei replaced him with Juan Jesus) and Genoa are looking to bring him in.
Last season, Maksimovic appeared in 27 matches in all competitions, including 17 in Serie A.
