An opportunity on the market that entices the player quite a bit: Stephan El Shaarawy will in fac5 likely play on loan in Europe at least through January. This development is essentially forced by the Covid pandemic, the former Roma winger in fact accepted Roberto Mancini's selection to the Italian national team and a return to China would ensure a long quarantine.
With El Shaarawy's current club Guangzhou only having a couple of games left in the schedule, he would only be eligible to play in one game on September 28th because he would have to quarantine before then and seen the Italy will also be playing in October and November, it makes sense for El Shaarawy to play in Europe.
El Shaarawy has been given permission to reach an agreement on a loan deal with a European club, the agreement could be extended or converted to a permanent deal. The player's preference is to return to Roma, who are however covered in his role even with Zaniolo's injury, there have also been some contacts with Arsenal, Atletico Madrid and Paris St Germain, who also recently signed Florenzi. At the moment there is no ongoing negotiation, but El Shaarawy could be an opportunity numerous clubs explore.
