Kevin Prince Boateng is very close to returning to Spain after previously playing for Las Palmas, only this time to join Barcelona. This would be a rather surprising transfer for the former Milan player, but he has been identified as the right profile to give Valverde more options offensively.
There’s an agreement in principle between the blaugrana and Sassuolo on the basis of a loan for €2 million with an option to buy set at €8 millionthe deal is being negotiated by Boateng’s agent Edoardo Crnjar.
Sassuolo’s sporting director Carnevali will head to Spain this afternoon, he had previously developed a relationship with Barcelona through the deal for Marlon, the partnership could continue with future deals including one for Sensi, a player that the Blaugrana have been following. Sassuolo will work on finding a replacement for Boateng, but in the meantime have blocked Scamacca’s loan
