The top choices therefore to replace remain Neto and Leno. With Szczesny joining Juventus, the team's current backup Neto is the option preferred by Sarri. Bernd Leno, who plays for Bayer Leverkusen and the German national team is the second choice, but Neto's upsides include his lower price tag and familiarity with the Italian league.
Napoli's other transfer market targets, both wide players, are Ounas from Bordeaux and Berenguer from Osasuna. As for departures, Left back Faouzi Ghoulam is still wanted by Liverpool, and there are new contacts expected with the agent of the Algerian.
