Roma are pushing to sign Rasmus Nissen Kristensen from Leeds United. Talks are at advanced stage, as the player wants to join the Italian side and has already given his approval to the move.
Agreement with Leeds has not been reached yet: parties are discussing the formula of the deal, that should be based on a loan.
Last season Roma had already held contacts with Salzburg (where Kristensen was playing) to buy the Danish defender. The Austrian club's request, however, was 15 million euros, considered too high by the Giallorossi, that turned on Celik.
Now, negotiations are open again, with favourable conditions after Kristensen joined Leeds and was relegated from the Premier League to the Championship.
