Despite all the rumors about top clubs following him closely, Fiorentina starlet Federico Chiesa's focus is only on the upcoming season with la Viola. "Me world-class? No, absolutely - said Chiesa in an interview with Corriere della Sera - I am happy with I have achieved so far, but I am confident I can improve a lot".
Federico, son of Enrico Chiesa, former Fiorentina player in the 90s, remains humble also when asked about the big offers received by Fiorentina for him: "I was serene because I had already decided that I would have stayed here. It was the right decision for me. Knowing that big clubs were willing to spend a lot of money for me doesn't affect me."
Finally, the young winger discussed also his goals for next season: "I have to score more and make more assists. And I have to improve defensively, too. The upfront trio with Pjaca and Simeone intrigues me a lot".
