Leicester City opened their season yesterday with a loss to Arsenal, and even though Riyad Mahrez featured in the match his future is still uncertain. Roma made a third official request for the player with an offer of 35 million euros, but the Foxes never responded to the offer. Now, the player's agent is trying to mediate between the two sides, asking Roma to raise their offer a little bit to get the deal done by adding bonuses. Roma, however, wants a quick response because if they can't land the player, they need a suitable replacement. According to Paolo Asogna of Sky Sport, Monchi wants an answer by midnight of the Italian holiday, Ferragosto, that lands on August 15th. Leicester has been holding out for 40 million pounds to sell him abroad, and 50 million to sell him to another Premier League side, but Roma is hoping they will lower the demands by the 15th, or else they will move on.
