The new Milan is starting to take shape, from director roles, to the new coach and all the way to the squad level. After today’s meeting with Paolo Maldini, Frederic Massara is ready to become the rossoneri’s next sporting director after his previous experience at Roma.
Massara is expected to sign his contract tomorrow. Then it will be Marco Giampaolo’s turn, the former Sampdoria manager is expected to be Rino Gattuso’s successor, there will be a meeting before the end of the week to formalize the agreement.
Milan are also working on acquiring new players. The rossoneri are targeting Dejan Lovren, the Croatian defender born in 1989 currently at Liverpool.
Earlier today Maldini also met with agent Riso, the main topic of discussion was midfielder Stefano Sensi, Milan want to understand the conditions of a possible deal. Milan are also interested in center back Gianluca Mancini but they will wait to hear the new manager’s opinion before going any further.
