Juventus are gaining confidence in the possibility of signing Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid. Juventus are awaiting word from agent Jorge Mendes, who now must confirm the fee to Real Madrid for Ronaldo: €100 million for the player's rights. The fee is a gentleman's agreement between Ronaldo and Real Madrid, but nonetheless Mendes, while meeting with Florentino Perez, restated that his client wishes to leave the club. Juventus still must await to learn all the conditions of the deal, in terms of the total sum and the terms of payment.
The next stages of the deal are still developing at Real Madrid: if Real respects the terms of the €100 million pact, Juventus are ready to make an official offer. The bianconeri representatives would then travel to Spain to present the offer, as well as draw up the contract for Ronaldo: €60 million per season gross wages for the next four seasons.
The OK from Agnelli has already arrived. The Juve president has done a study of the entire cost and expected revenues from the operation. The plan is ready to go, they are just awaiting the signal from Jorge Mendes to put it in action.
