Roma is back to work in Trigoria after winning a friendly 9-0 against Latina. This is a special season for Daniele De Rossi, as this year will be his 18th with the giallorossi. The veteran shared his thoughts on his manager, Eusebio Di Francesco, and the team's newly acquired midfielder Javier Pastore.
On Di Francesco: "The situation compared to last year has improved, even though last year we did something great. This year we're repeating the same things, and that's good for the new players. We've started with the bulk of the team. For us, being here is a miracle and there's no need for our friends from Northern Italy. The physiotherapist has his own machines, we have our own rooms. Traveling to America was also very fascinating, but Trigoria has become truly splendid."
On Pastore: "I like him as a person. I'm friends with Sirigu and Verratti. They also said he's a calm person. It's a pleasure to share the locker room with him. He must have time to adapt to the rhythm of the Italian league. PSG, like Juventus, dominates their league, but he's needing to train and reach an athleticism suitable for the Italian league."
