Juventus had put him in their list of defenders to follow with attention to reinforce their squad for the next season, hoping Madrid would open to a sale. It won't be that way though, at least according to the player's words.
Raphael Varane has in fact removed any doubts regarding his future in an interview to Marca: "I'm staying here, I'm sure we'll live important things and have great emotions next season. This year, we've had complicated moments to live and I couldn't do my best, you'll see the best Varane next season though".
Varane is already thinking about next season: "We have to improve and Zidane knows how to do. There are things to change, like always when a cycle ends and you want to start a new one".
