While Parma is currently in Lega Pro, they remain a very prestigious name in Italian football. After the difficulties of the past few seasons, the fan base is eager to return to bigger stages which is why there have been many changes in recent weeks- president Scala, sporting director Minotti and manager Apolloni have all left. In the last few hours there have been contacts with former Hellas Verona manager Andrea Mandorlini to take over, he's evaluating the possibility since he's still under contract with Verona and also had offers from Serie B clubs. While managing in Lega Pro would be a step down, Parma is certainly a job with a distinct appeal.
