Arkadiusz Milik is attempting to get ahead of schedule. After only a month since his injury, the Napoli striker has already begun running, but he is, however, the first to express caution. His return? The only thing that is certain is that it will not be prior to 2017:
“I feel very good, and do not even remember exactly how many days have passed since my injury,” Milik told Sky Sports. “Now I can return to the pitch even if it is just to run as opposed to playing; I am very happy. I am on the right path, and my physiotherapist believes this as well. My knee has not been swelling. When will I return? This is not a question that I can answer. I want to return as soon as possible. I have begun running, but I am not ready to work alongside the group. I do not want to give an exact date, because one can never know with these types of injuries. However, it will be next year.”
