After the win on Wednesday against Genoa, Milan are focused on building some positive momentum when they travel to Friuli to face Udinese. The rossoneri’s manager Rino Gattuso discussed his next opponent in the pre match press conference:”It’s always difficult to gain points in that stadium, we have to be very careful, they are a physical team and we can’t make mistakes. We have to be ready for them. I don’t know if tomorrow is our first main test. At the mental level some of my boys still have to improve. I want to see more energy on the pitch”
Gattuso was asked about Riccardo Montolivo who was selected for the first time this season after Lucas Biglia’s recent injury and Andrea Conti who is returning from a knee injury:”Montolivo has been training with us when possible, he has always been present and his time will come. I make the decisions and when I think he is ready to play. You may like it or not but I decide when my boys are ready. Conti has been out for 14/15 months, he played intelligently yesterday and was very cautious. My aim is to get him continuity and see where we go. The fact that he played with the youth team is important for him to overcome the fear”
