With the dominant performance at the Olimpico against Lazio, Inter have continued their win streak in Serie A, reaching now six games on the bounce. The Nerazzurri want to keep the momentum going also against Genoa, before hosting Barcelona on Tuesday in the Champions League, an important game that could lead coach Luciano Spalletti to change some of the men in the lineup for Saturday's fixure.
"The Genoa game will be difficult like every game we play - Spalletti said in the pre-match press conference - We have to prove that we are a strong side. There will be some changes compared to the last match, I always select the best possible team when I choose the line-up. Marotta? I know him, he is great in his job. He would add something to the club, but I must say that there are a lot of people here that could add something to top clubs like, for example, Juventus. The fact that Marotta was leaving Juventus was known only by Juventus, while the fact that Marotta could join us is know by everbody except for the club".
Spalletti went back on the rotations that could involve also the captain Mauro Icardi: "Lautaro? He is certainly in my thoughts, he is a significant player, he can help us especially with all these games in a short time. If I choose him it's not to give Icardi a rest, but because he is on the same level as Icardi. Nainggolan? He is showing what he's about, he's very tough. He's already back in the
group thanks to the medical staff. It will be difficult to use him
tomorrow but he could play for 30 minutes."
