Manchester United, Ibrahimovic suffers possible damaged ACL. Mourinho: "It might be a serious injury"

Zlatan Ibrahimovic was substituted off near the end of Manchester United's Europe League quarterfinal tie, as the club advanced to teh semifinal. In the post-match press conference after the win against Anderlecht however, Jose Mourinho's comments took a negative tilt, referencing on the state of his striker, as well as defender Marcos Rojo: "I think that they might be serious injuries. I don't want to draw any conclusions, I would prefer to wait until tomorrow or the next day. But from my experience I would say that those are not simple injuries." According to Alessandro Alciato of Sky, a torn ACL is a possible initial diagnosis for the Swede, who left the match in his own vehicle and tomorrow will undergo evaluations which should reveal the extent of his injury.
