Sunday night's match at the Olimpico will feature two of the current scudetto contenders in a race that sees three teams separated by a point. Lazio manager Simone Inzaghi is well aware of what is at stake when his squad faces Inter as he explained in the pre match press conference:"Hearing talk about this being a Scudetto match is fascinating, the standings says so, we'll try to play a great match in front of our fans. It's an important match but not decisive, we know from where we started and how much we worked, our objective for the season is clear in our minds"
Inzaghi gave an assessment on the scudetto race:"Juventus have been ahead for years with planning and ideas, this year Inter and us are doing all we can to give them a hard time in their quest for a ninth title in a row"
Inzaghi discussed one of the keys to the match:"We must be very attentive and intense when we don't have possession. Lukaku and Martinez are players good with the ball, we must limit the service to the strikers"
