Juventus, Allegri keeps tensions high: ‘First game after International break is always dangerous. Higuain? He’s starting’

As the international break comes to an end, the Serie A prepares its comeback. For Allegri there is no doubt about it, matches after a break are always the toughest: ‘The first match after a break is always the most dangerous one. This month we have three objectives: Champions League round of 16 qualification, maintaining first place in the league, and the Italian supercup. Pescara plays well, it won’t be easy against them. Tuesday the match versus Sevilla is more crucial to them than for us. We just need to win one of the next two matches to qualify’.

On Higuain and his current situation: ‘Higuain will play tomorrow. He looked fine when he came back. So far he’s having a good season and Argentina won, so I don’t see why he shouldn’t be happy’.

Injuries are a big topic at Juve right now: ‘Marchisio is doing well and managed to train, I’ll make my decisions based on the last few sessions. For Chiellini I’ll decide today. Pjaca is far from healing, and Dybala hasn't had any setbacks but still needs time. Barzagli won’t be available and Benatia returned from his national team with knee pains, so we’ll see’.
