Sebastian Giovinco is coming off another weekend in which he dominated in MLS, but he finds himself on the outside looking in when it comes to the Italian national team. During today's press conference Azzurri manager Giampiero Ventura discussed why he didn't select the Toronto FC striker:"For two years I did everything I could to acquire him (while managing at Torino), I know everything about him. The problem is he plays in a league where the number of goals he scores matter less because his quality makes a difference there. Unfortenately you get used to that league, the phase of getting the ball back becomes less important. The problem is the mentality it's the same problem for Criscito (in Russian league). He's a great player and friend, I saw him grow, but his problem is that he needs to force ha myself to find the fire within himself in Russia
