Vincenzo Montella has already selected his starting eleven for tomorrow against Inter in the derby. According to Sky reporter, Peppe Di Stefano, there is still one doubt for Milan which will be resolved definitively after tomorrow’s training session; the condition of Alessio Romagnoli is still to be determined as he is close to recovery after having suffered an injury with the national team. If Romagnoli is not at his best, then Gustavo Gomez is ready to take his place alongside Paletta. Milan should take to the field with the following squad:
Milan (4-3-3) - Donnarumma; Abate, Paletta, Romagnoli (Gustavo Gomez), De Sciglio; Kucka, Locatelli, Bonaventura; Suso, Bacca, Niang.
Inter find themselves in a similar position. Stefano Pioli must decide who will partner Miranda in the center of the defense. Gary Medel appears to be the favorite according to Massimiliano Nebuloni (Sky). This would be an intriguing development for it would be the second time that Medel finds himself playing as a centerback in the derby. Last year the Chilean was used as a substitute for the injured Miranda. Pioli has selected a 4-3-3 formation:
Inter (4-3-3) - Handanovic; D'Ambrosio, Medel, Miranda, Ansaldi; Brozovic, Joao Mario, Kondogbia; Candreva, Icardi, Perisic.
