After the debut win against Tottenham, Inter get another vital three points for their Champions League campaign. The nerazzuri got the better side in the clash against PSV, clinching a fundamental 2-1 away win that puts them at the top of the table together with Barcelona.
Inter coach Luciano Spalletti commented the result of his side against Van Bommel's: "If you leave some room to PSV's physical players things can get complicated. We played as I wanted, we pressed them quite well, we have to compliment Nainggolan for that. He is back to significant levels of performances, he had many injuries during pre-season but now he is back. Politano did well too, but we gave away some balls just when we could have hurt PSV", said the coach to Sky Sport.
"We can improve at managing the game, there are some moments of the match when we are not able to figure out how to do our best. PSV has some quick palyers that should have been controlled better. Icardi? He is an extremely complete striker when it comes to finishing, but when the team is under the cosh he must drop deeper and not run in behind. In the final minutes he dropped deep and helped us get out of some difficult situations. He played a very good match and in the box he is an animal, he is flawless in the area", concluded Spalletti.
