It is all settled: Antonio Conte will be the new Inter manager. All the details have been settled between the club and the manager after the meetings through the middle of May, which brought both parties closer together. Conte will receive 12 million euro per year in a 3 year contract and he is already in Milan to take part in the promotion campaigns. The new manager will leave for Madrid on Friday with the Inter directors for his official trip as Inter manager to watch the Champions League Final. The official annoucement has been pushed back a few hours because the funeral for Luciano Spalletti's brother is taking place today. They are waiting for tomorrow to officially annouce the decision.
There is also news about Conte's staff at Inter: his assistant managers will be Cristian Stellini and Paolo Vanoli. Conte's brother, Gianluca, will be the opposition scout. Julio Tous, Costantino Coratti and Tiberio Ancora will be the fitness trainers. Adriano Bonaiuti is the only holdover as the goalkeeper coach because of his good relationship with Handanovic. The role of team manager is yet to be defined, but it could be given to Fabio Pinna.
