After the controversial quotes from coach Antonio Conte, Inter's CEO Beppe Marotta discussed the club plans for the future and the possibility to bring in some reinforcement during the winter transfer window: "I know him [Conte] very well, he is a very demanding coach and a great professional who wants to win all the time. He also has a peculiar communicative style. We all agree on what he said, because we want to improve. Evrything can be imporved, it only needs a bit of time. The earliest occasion to bolster the team will happen in the January transfer window, when we will seize the opportunities".

"The January transfer window has not that much to offer - continued Marotta - However we want to seize the opportunities that it could bring. Time is more important than money. We know that we have a good coach and a strong club. Conte is a very transparent guy and we will evaluate things in that moment. We will look for experienced players, but not players that are near the end of theri career. We must have a squad with youth and experience".

Finally Marotta was asked about the moves Inter made during the summer: "I didn't believe that we could be one point behind Juve, we have to learn from criticism and look ahead of us. Looking behind is pointless. As CEO of this club, I have to keep the financial aspect under control too".
