After being sidelined for two months due to injuries, Daniele De Rossi returned on the pitch to play 30 minutes in Boca Juniors' win over Union Santa Fe. The former Roma player revealed how he had a hard time being forced to be sidelined for a significant amount of time: "When you're 36 you have to make important decision everyday. I want to understand how I am physically. Now I think I am very well, but one month ago I didn't think about that in such positive terms.
"If I am fit, this [Boca] is a place where I love to play. I'm not conisdering leaving in another place or to another club. I'm honoured to wear this jersey and I want to play a bit more. I feel good at Boca and I want to thank the president and Nicolas Burdisso for bringing me here. I'll be forever grateful to them because I love every day I spend here", concluded De Rossi
