Torino's defender Lyanco will be sidelined for about two months following the Granata medical staff's decision to choose a conservative treatment for the injury the Brazilian suffered to the medial collateral ligament in his right knee. The staff demeed surgery not necessary for the injury and now Lyanco will undergo a recovery program before returning to the pitch.
In a moment where the results are not ideal for his team, Mazzarri will have to do without an additional option in his defence, as Lyanco will be available for selection again only at the beginning of February 2020, or even a couple of weeks earlier, should the conservative treatment prove to be particularly successfull.
