Casiraghi discusses Serie A strikers: "Higuain is one of the best in the league, Ronaldo won't score 40 goals per season in Italy"

Former Lazio striker Pierluigi Casiraghi discussed the main goalscorers of the league in an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport: "Immobile is the most decisive striker of Italian football. He is consistent and, with him and Milinkovic, Lazio could be in the race to finish in the top four. Ronaldo? He will take Juventus to the next level, but I don't think he will score 40 goals like he did with Real Madrid. Serie A defences are not the one he used to face in the La Liga. Mandzukic is the best upfront partner for him, the Croatian can work the space. Higuain? Milan got one of the best strikers in the league, he will score a lot this season too". Casiraghi also commented on the Inter Argentinian duo: "I like Lautaro Martinez a lot, but he need some time to understand Italian football. The Nerazzurri, together with Napoli, are the Juventus' main challengers for the Scudetto".
