"It becomes difficult to explain the reason behind a ball played from 40 meters out: you react late, you don't read it well and its surprising that a ball is played from so far out. Our downfall? After the goal. After allowing a goal so difficult to explain, it's clear that even more pressure gets to your head."

Luciano Spalletti analyzed Inter's 2-2 tie at San Siro against Torino: "Our reactions were not correct in regards to how the game developed in important moments."

"It's worrisome when you don't have the right reaction after a goal like that," Spalletti continued when speaking to Sky. "These are the moments that had characterized us in the past years and last season when we lost the first match."

"It was difficult to maintain our own abilities. We lost our way. On Belotti's goal, we were all late and didn't read the play aggressively enough."

"Us the Anti-Juve? We could become it. But thinking about that creates pressure. We need to work hard to become the anti-somebody. I say that we are a team that can compete with 4 or 5 teams at our level, because we still need to develop a strong mentality. If you ask me this after a game like the one against Sassuolo, I would say that we are the 'anti-body.'"
