Milan, Romagnoli:”Great emotion to be the captain considering my predecessors”

Following Leonardo Bonucci’s departure, Milan have decided to appoint Alesia Romagnoli as the team’s captain. The former Sampdoria defender discussed the significance of the decision in an interview on Serie A’s You Tube channel:”It will be a great emotion, if I think of those that wore the arm band before. We’ve had people like Baresi and Maldini with this duty, so being the captain is a reason to be proud, an honor. It means you are well liked within the group, it also means you have to take responsibility when it matters and always hold yourself accountable by facing all the problems”
