Barcelona midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng can be considered a bit a globe-trotter player, as he played for ten different clubs during his almost 15 years of professional career. The Ghanaian remembered some of the most influential people of his career in an interview with DAZN, starting from his stint at Milan: "In two months I had become the fans' hero. I have alway been a player that like to showboat, but the best thing that I did at Milan was to be a warrior on the pitch. People reacted positively to this change in my playstyle, I played over players that no one would have imagined could be benched. Ibrahimovic? When I wlaked in the locker room on my first day he called me by my name. I thought: 'Wow, he knows my name'. We got along from the very beginning. He is a leader, I have never met a more ambitious player than him. If he loses a game in training, he won't speak to you for four days".

Boateng then remember how it was to work with Liverpool's coach Jürgen Klopp, whom he shared the 2009 season at Borussia Dortmund with: "He knows exaclty what he has to say to players to make them go on the pitch and die for him. He has this amazing ability, we have seen it at Dortmund and now we are seeing it at Liverpool. He makes every player feel important, I would have gone to China for him. In 2009, if Dortmund had reached Europe, they would have made my loan permanent. When Klopp called me to say that they would have not made the deal permanent I broke into tears. I could see that something big was going to happen with the club, but [me staying there] it wasn't meant to be".
