Despite their struggles the past few weeks, Milan control their own destiny in the race for a Champions League spot. The rossoneri will try to get back on track after the elimination in the Coppa Italia when they face Torino tomorrow, manager Rino Gattuso described the showdown in the pre match press conference:”I believe we have a lot to play for in Turin, we are struggling a bit phsycally and mentally, we play against a team similar to Atalanta and we have to do better than in our recent matches. It will not be an easy game tomorrow, Torino are in good shape and we have to focus on our game, we will think about the rest later”
Gattuso described his team’s state of mind:”We have always had our spark in difficult moments and lately we seem to be lacking it. We need to rediscover our spirit and not get bogged down. We have to be united and find that extra energy within us. We also have to reason with the same mind frame. I hear a lot of rumors about my future and so on, now we just need to focus on Milan’s future”
Gattuso went on:”We can regain our smile in case of of a win but we still have four games left to play. Will Suso start tomorrow? Let’s see what happens but I would bet on all my players”.
